We are seeking a dedicated Resource Program Teacher and Cross‑Categorical Resource Program Teacher to provide specialized instruction and support for elementary students in Ypsilanti, MI . These roles focus on delivering individualized education, fostering inclusion, and ensuring compliance with IEPs and district standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide direct instruction and interventions across multiple categories of student needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
- Support a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan teaching certification in Special Education.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience working with elementary students in resource or cross‑categorical programs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
