General Production Worker - Urgent!The General Production Worker supports manufacturing and production operations by assembling products, operating basic machinery, packaging finished goods, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.Key responsibilities include:Assemble, package, and inspect products according to specifications.Operate production equipment and machinery safely.Perform quality checks on materials and finished products.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Follow all company safety policies and procedures.Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials as needed.Meet daily production goals and deadlines.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Ability to stand, lift, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.Strong attention to detail and reliability.Previous manufacturing or production experience is a plus but not required.Job type and location:This is a contract to hire position based out of Essex, CT.Pay and benefits:The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.50/hr.
