Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead IT operations, ensuring high system reliability, performance, and service delivery. The ideal candidate will provide leadership to technical teams, manage incident and release processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong telecom domain experience, technical expertise, and the ability to manage complex operational environments.

Requirement/Must Have:

• Proven experience in IT operations or technical leadership roles.
• Mandatory experience in telecom domain.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.
• Deep technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and applications.
• Experience with ITIL practices and Agile methodologies.
• Strong experience in incident, problem, and change management.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and mentor IT Operations teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Oversee daily IT operations including incident intake, triage, escalation, and resolution.
• Drive root cause analysis and ensure closure of incidents and defects.
• Establish and monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure service efficiency and quality.
• Drive process improvements across incident, problem, defect, and change management.
• Manage the release lifecycle including scheduling, coordination, deployment, and monitoring.
• Ensure adherence to release criteria, quality checks, and change management processes.
• Act as a technical escalation point for complex issues across infrastructure and applications.
• Manage and optimize monitoring systems to ensure system performance and uptime.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for business continuity.
• Lead operational planning, timelines, communication, and resource management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope and ensure successful delivery.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholder communication and governance discussions.
• Communicate risks, issues, and impacts to management proactively.

Should Have:
