Job Description
As a Security Officer Hospital Deescalation Patrol in Boca Raton FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and provide professional customer service and communication. You may assist with hospital protocols including supporting staff during patient restraint situations. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings parking areas entrances and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity hazards and policy violations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including requests for assistance disturbances medical emergencies and facility-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures and report unauthorized access or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear accurate reports and communicate observations incidents and concerns to supervisors and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.
- Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for role.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
