Job Description
As a Security Officer Hospital Clinical Services in Delray Beach FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Learn more: As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support patients visitors and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. You may assist with sensitive hospital operations including access control and incident response. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities at a healthcare facility.
- Respond to incidents disturbances medical emergencies and other critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas including entrances parking areas patient care corridors and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures assisting with directions and access-related inquiries as needed.
- Document incidents observations and patrol activity accurately and promptly escalating concerns to site leadership in accordance with established protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
- Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
- A state county or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for role.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
