Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the state of Louisiana
• Possess a valid Louisiana teaching certificate
• Certification as a CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
• Prior experience working in a school environment is highly desirable
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment programs
• Monitor student progress and communicate updates to teachers, families, and other school professionals
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with all relevant state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate closely with special education teams to support school-wide initiatives
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning

This onsite position offers the opportunity to build relationships within a supportive school community and to gain experience with a diverse student population. The assignment runs from August 6, 2026, through May 25, 2027, with a steady weekly schedule totaling 37.5 hours.
