Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

Hold an active Louisiana Speech-Language Pathology license.
Possess a valid Louisiana teaching certificate.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
Previous experience in school settings is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
Organizational talent for managing documentation and caseload.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Conduct thorough screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine students’ needs.
Develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals.
Maintain accurate records and progress reports compliant with school and state requirements.
Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and continue professional development.

Position Details:

Contract assignment for the 2026-2027 school year (August 6, 2026, through May 25, 2027).
Full-time, 37.5 hours weekly, onsite only.
