Maintenance Technician

Adaptability & Prioritization – Can pivot smoothly between emergency calls, turnovers, and preventive maintenance while meeting deadlines. Continuous Learning – Comfortable with new tools, building systems, and technologies. Honesty & Integrity – Transparent in reporting work performed, time used, and materials required. Technical & Operational Requirements Minimum 2–3 years of general building maintenance or construction experience. Proficiency with online maintenance systems (AppFolio, Building Engines, or similar): meticulous uploading of work‑order notes, timestamps, and photos documenting each repair. Availability for rotating on‑call duty – every third week, compensated at time‑and‑a‑half for any after‑hours calls. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks across several sites without constant supervision. Must be comfortable driving between 25+ properties across Boston and the South Shore, representing more than 300 units (and growing). Solid skills in at least two core trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC). Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Familiarity with preventive maintenance routines and turnover standards. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license. Clean, professional appearance and demeanor. Willingness to assist in larger renovation or capital‑project tasks when needed.
