Men's Basketball, Assistant Coach

Director of Player Development / Assistant Coach Reports to the Head Men’s Basketball Coach and works full‑time at Loyola University Chicago’s Athletics program located at the Rogers Park-Lake Shore Campus. The assistant coach prepares men’s basketball student‑athletes for personal, academic, and athletic success while ensuring compliance with university, conference, and NCAA policies. Key Responsibilities Assist with on‑court training, practice planning, and skill development. Assist with recruitment of student‑athletes: identifying talent, building relationships with clubs/teams, and serving as an ambassador for Loyola University Chicago. Assist with on‑campus recruiting visits. Assist with overall student‑athlete development. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. 1–2 years of collegiate playing experience. Additional Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office. No supervisory responsibilities. No requirement to operate university owned vehicles. No direct animal or patient contact. Physical Demands & Working Conditions Standing and repetitive motions. Irregular hours. Compensation Minimum: $50,000 per annum. Maximum: $150,000 per annum.
