We are hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Miami, FL. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. Current NICU/PICU experience is required for this role. You will work within a multidisciplinary team and apply advanced respiratory technologies and therapies to neonatal and pediatric patients.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• Current state Respiratory Therapist license in good standing.
• BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required.
• At least 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience.
• Current NICU/PICU experience required.
• Experience with Meditech preferred.
• Familiarity with high flow devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servo ventilators, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, and Heliox preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Meditech documentation experience preferred by the hiring director.
• Experience providing respiratory therapies for neonatal and pediatric populations.
• Team player with critical thinking skills and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900-0700.
• Work setting: Level 3 NICU / PICU responsibilities within a tertiary care, teaching, Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center.
• May float to provide coverage for adult floors for therapies such as nebulizer therapy, BIPAP, and CPT.
• Required uniform color: Light Gray (Silver).
