Human Resources Information System Specialist

HRIS Specialist –HR/Payroll / Data Conversion Contract: 18–24 Month Seattle, WA (Hybrid: First 90 days onsite, then 2–3 days/week) We're seeking a hands‑on HRIS Specialist – HR/Payroll / Data Conversion to play a key role in a complex ERP implementation, supporting configuration through go‑live. This position blends HR process expertise with HRIS functional configuration, data integrity, and cross‑functional collaboration. What You'll Do Configure and validate HRIS HCM modules (Core HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Compensation, Talent/Performance, Recruiting, Benefits). Partner with HR, Business Analysts, Data Architects, and implementation teams to align system design with HR policies. Drive requirements gathering, fit‑gap analysis, and document configuration decisions. Lead testing cycles (unit, UAT, regression), defect triage, and sign‑off. Support data migration, integrations and ensure audit readiness. Deliver training, SOPs, and knowledge articles for HR operations and end‑users. Support post go‑live, resolving issues and implementing sustainable fixes. What We're Looking For 5–7+ years HRIS configuration/implementation experience in complex environments. Strong HR process knowledge across hire‑to‑retire, compensation, time & absence, benefits, talent/performance, and recruiting. Hands‑on Workday experience (business processes, security, calculated fields, reporting, EIBs). Proven success in testing, data migration, and integration coordination.
