Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Unit Information

Unit: Operating Room (OR)
Number of Beds: 20 rooms
Total Staff: 110
Staff Positions: Director, Charge RN, OR Coordinators, Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, CRNAs
Day Shift Staff: Director, Manager, 18 RN teams and 18 techs
Night Shift Staff: 2 teams with 1 on-call team based on staffing and volume
Patient Ratios: 1:1
Type of Equipment: Sterile accessories, circulator, sponges, gowning, gloving, tubing, cords
Documentation System: Meditech experience is required
Call Requirements:
- 2 weekend shifts (8 hours)
- 4 evening shifts (4 hours)
- 1 overnight shift (8 hours)

Typical Hiring Profile

Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an acute hospital setting
Specialization: Strong experience in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, and Robotics
Flexibility: Must be willing to float among different specialties in the OR
Documentation System: Meditech experience is mandatory

Typical Procedures Performed

Robotics/Da Vinci surgeries
SP, DV5, Mako procedures
Neurosurgical cases (Stealth)
Burn case surgeries (operating rooms at 84 degrees)
Cystoscopy and fluid management
GI tower system operations
Endoscopic procedures
Laparoscopic surgeries
ENT and Eye procedures
Trauma surgeries (pediatric and adult)
Endovascular hybrid room assignments
Implant scanning and documentation
Specimen documentation

Additional Preferences

Ability to prepare operating rooms and arrange equipment
Assisting doctors during surgeries
Maintaining a 30-minute turnaround time between procedures
Inspecting, maintaining, and decontaminating surgical equipment
Keeping accurate inventory records
Performing pre- and post-surgical tasks such as shaving, transporting patients, and applying dressings

Dress Code

Scrubs are provided; color: Ciel Blue. Bring your own lock and working shoes.

This facility is recognized as a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center and has received the American Heart Gold Plus Achievement Award.
