Part-Time Retail Associate

Retail AssociateMeatEater is seeking a part-time hourly Retail Associate to join our team at its retail space in Edina, MN. The Retail Associate at our MeatEater store is responsible for maintaining inventory, representing MeatEater, Inc. professionally, and ensuring that product knowledge is communicated to our customer base in Minnesota. The right candidate will have a passion for outdoor pursuits. Additionally, the Retail Associate should have or be willing to gain well-rounded knowledge about hunting gear and clothing from all of MeatEater, Inc. brands: First Lite, FHF Gear, Dave Smith Decoys, Phelps Game Calls, and the MeatEater brand products. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in retail or similar industry.The job is located in Edina, MinnesotaRequirementsGreeting customers as they walk in, build rapportMaintaining the store (clean, straighten displays)Keeping an eye on low inventory levelsProcessing salesReminding customers about our sales and discountsKeeping the backstock room orderlyUtilizing teamwork to keep the store organized and running smoothlyOngoing effort to familiarize self and customers about our product, sales, and discountsCollaborative attitude and team orientedAbility to keep the store organized and running smoothlyProvide assistance with store events, with potentially offsite opportunities (e.g. trade shows)Ability to carry up to 50lbs and manage occasional physically demanding tasksOther duties as beneficial to MeatEaterRequired QualificationsPersonable and willing to help both customers and coworkersPreferred QualificationsPrevious retail experienceAvailability to work weekends is strongly preferredFamiliarity with MeatEater, Inc. and family of brandsHunting and fishing experience
