Technical Project Manager – Engineering Team Employment type: 3 month contract with potential for extension Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3-4 days onsite in the greater Boston area Position Overview We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Technical Project Manager (TPM) to join our client's Engineering Team. This role is essential in ensuring that cross-functional teams stay aligned, projects progress smoothly, and high-quality products are delivered to market. The TPM serves as the central coordination point, bringing together key stakeholders across different business functions. Working closely with design managers and engineers, they will share responsibility for launching new products successfully. Key Responsibilities The Technical Project Manager will facilitate alignment on daily engineering tasks and deliverables while overseeing project direction to ensure development stays on track and meets market expectations. This role involves maintaining updated project schedules and ensuring timely execution to align with retailer requirements. The TPM will keep global teams informed about project status, risks, and critical issues, and will lead internal team meetings while establishing clear project plans and tracking technical challenges using project management tools. Additionally, the position supports ongoing improvements for existing products and prepares updates for senior leadership. Desired Skills & Experience Background in engineering, with 2+ years of experience in project management or an engineering role (project management preferred) Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex information to non-technical teams Experience managing projects from conception to completion, ideally within consumer products or manufacturing Ability to present confidently to senior stakeholders Hands‑on approach with a keen understanding of manufacturing processes and limitations WE ARE NOT WORKING WITH THIRD PARTY AGENCIES ON ANY ROLES AT THIS TIME.
