Operate black oxide line and conduct hardness checks on incoming parts to ensure quality standards are met.Job PurposeThe Assembly Technician is an entry-level role focused on basic assembly tasks under close supervision. Performs manual tasks and understands role within the production process.Main ResponsibilitiesPerform basic assembly operations and manual tasks.Load and position parts for assembly.Maintain cleanliness and follow safety guidelines.Assist senior technicians with routine tasks.Required Competencies0–1 years; no prior assembly experience required.Ability to follow instructions, attention to detail, willingness to learn.EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent.Experience with machining and cutting operations is essential.Knowledge or 5S and lean manufacturing is preferred.Licenses & CertificatesMust be a US citizen or authorized to work in the USA.Other InformationAvailability for flexible scheduling as needed, including potential overtime.More about SandvikAt Sandvik Coromant, we are driven by a passion for excellence in everything we do.
