Bassett Healthcare Network , a progressive academic healthcare system in central New York and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a full-time Infectious Disease Physician.

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Join an established group of 3 physicians
• Inpatient and outpatient consults
• Outpatient longitudinal HIV care
• Infectious disease call by phone is 1:4
• Opportunity to cover telehealth for non-affiliated hospitals
• Opportunity to do clinical research, stewardship, and infection control
• Moonlighting opportunities for inpatient internal medicine as a hospitalist
• With a faculty appointment from Columbia, there is daily interaction with medical students as well as internal medicine and transitional residents
• Fully integrated EPIC Electronic Medical Record
• Salary range: $270,000 - $300,000. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare's good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
• Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
• Sign-on bonus up to $100,000
• Group employed model

Job Requirements

• MD, DO or MBBS
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• NYS Licensure
• BLS Certification Required
