Location: Sunnyvale, CA | Schedule: M-F, 6:00AM 2:30PM | Contract Role

About the Role
Join a driven team in a state-of-the-art manufacturing laboratory focused on packing and testing ion exchange media for chromatography consumables. As a Sr. Formulation Technician, you ll ensure the highest product quality, contribute to continuous improvement, and advance your lab skills in a collaborative, safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

- Execute testing and qualification of resin products using specialized instruments to fulfill customer requirements
- Accurately record and report test results, maintaining detailed documentation for regulatory compliance
- Complete complex production work-orders, following established SOPs and ISO 9001 standards
- Analyze testing data, draw conclusions, and prepare technical reports
- Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and drive process improvements
- Actively adhere to EH&S and GMP guidelines, utilizing personal protective equipment at all times
- Identify areas for operational improvement and propose effective solutions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory workspace

Required Skills and Experience

- 2-5 years hands-on experience in a chemistry laboratory or similar manufacturing environment
- Solid understanding of Good Laboratory and Manufacturing Practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong math, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proven ability to follow SOPs and meet production schedules
- Familiarity with basic hand tools (e.g., wrenches, torque drivers, tweezers)
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate reliability, and consistently meet deadlines
- Physical ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds and work safely with chemicals

Preferred Skills

- Bachelor s degree in Chemistry or Biotechnology
- Experience with chromatography software
- Exposure to Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
