Program Details

The 52 week, three 12.5 hour shift curriculum consists of classroom didactics, skill labs, simulation labs, a two-week critical care course, and clinical hours with the Clinical Nurse Educators and preceptors. After the first 16-week of the program, the nursing residents are transitioned to a full-time clinical setting with their preceptors, which includes a two-week rotation with The Emergency Department Critical Care nurse.

During the 1 year program:

• ACLS and PALS certification will be obtained
• 8 CEUs of Stroke and 4 CEUs of Trauma will be obtained
• Trauma nursing certification
• Essential Critical Care Orientation Class
• Seminars

Requirements

Requirements:

• New Graduate from BSN Program
• Overall required GPA 3.3, Nursing GPA 3.5
• Application Submission, Interview ED leadership, ED staff and Human resources
• BLS certification

Salary Range

USD $54.48 - USD $74.72 /Hr.
