Position: Gastroenterologist – Inpatient & Outpatient Practice

Location: Hilton Head, South Carolina
Schedule: Full-Time | Permanent

This opportunity is with a well-established and growing healthcare organization serving Hilton Head and the surrounding coastal communities of South Carolina. 

The organization is seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Gastroenterologist to join its expanding gastroenterology team in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

This full-time opportunity offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient practice with the ability to perform a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures . Physicians will manage both acute and chronic gastrointestinal disorders while collaborating closely with primary care providers, surgeons, hospitalists, and other specialists.

2026 Gastroenterology fellows and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal and liver disorders

• Provide comprehensive care in both inpatient and outpatient settings

• Perform upper endoscopy (EGD), colonoscopy, and other diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures

• Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based medicine

• Coordinate care with referring physicians and multidisciplinary teams

• Educate patients regarding gastrointestinal health, preventive care, and treatment options

• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary care conferences

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on outstanding clinical outcomes

Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Training: Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship by 2026

Licensure: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology; eligible for South Carolina medical licensure

Experience: 2026 fellows and experienced gastroenterologists are encouraged to apply.
