The Kitchen & Plumbing Engineering Manager is responsible for managing employees and contractors and scheduling preventative and repair maintenance for the property. Must be able to handle emergency situations and notify the correct people for assistance and repair mitigation.

Duties:

• Act as a professional liaison between contractors, employees, departments, shops, and guests.

• Manage all Kitchen Technicians and Plumbers in their day-to-day activities.

• Oversee the effective management of kitchen equipment and plumbing of a large property.

• Work on and around electrical, water/plumbing, natural gas, and steam lines.

• Utilize hotsos to maintain a precise schedule of repair and maintenance.

• Manage repairs promptly and schedule of preventative maintenance for a large property.

• Attend and successfully complete all internal training courses and requirements.

• Maintain a high awareness of safety issues, remedy when possible or report unsafe conditions to Management.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or G.E.D., or trade school equivalent required.

• Advanced knowledge of kitchen equipment, electrical and plumbing.

• Previous Managerial experience required.

• Communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing.

• Be organized, flexible and can multi-task to meet all deadlines.

• Ability to motivate and manage employees.
