Job Description

What you'll do at DBH: Operates switchboard attendant/radio communication equipment Handles phone calls, intercom, paging system, two-way radio system Handles emergencies and alerts as needed Process call offs and logs all long-distance calls Monitors fire alarm systems and generator alarms Perform miscellaneous clerical and customer service duties Issues keys and visitor's badges Act as receptions Maintains visitor logs, maintains files and records Distribute newspapers This is an hourly position covered by the OCSEA/AFSCME bargaining unit (union), with a pay range of 5 on the OCSEA Pay Range Schedule . Normal working hours are 1 st shift (6:00am to 2:00pm), 2 nd shift (2:00pm to 10:00pm), and 3 rd shift (10:00pm to 6:00am) and may work weekends and holidays as needed. This position is located at our Northwest Ohio Behavioral Healthcare location, located at 930 South Detroit Avenue Toledo, Ohio 43614-2701. Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.
