About the Role Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is seeking a Director of Food and Beverage to lead an exceptional team in delivering unparalleled service and unforgettable dining experiences. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader who inspires others, fosters a collaborative work environment, and cultivates a culture of excellence. Responsibilities Coordinate the selection, training, development, and evaluation of employees and managers in the Food & Beverage Division to meet cultural and core standards. Plan long‑range strategy for outlet operation. Control labor and operating expenses through planning, budgeting, purchasing decisions, policy creation, and inventory control while driving cost control and revenue generation to maximize profit. Be visible in operations, maintain relationships with regular guests, and cultivate relationships with new patrons through effective marketing and personal engagement. Collaborate with the General Manager and Planning Committee to design menus, wine lists, and amenity options while ensuring product quality at a fair price. Communicate with employees and managers to meet operational needs and attend regular operational meetings to coordinate across departments. Qualifications College degree in hotel/restaurant management, business administration, or equivalent experience. Five to seven years of experience in multiple Food & Beverage department head positions. Working knowledge of division operations and Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and SOPs (learned on‑the‑job). Proficiency with computer equipment and food & beverage computer systems. Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English. Legal work authorization in the United States.
