Key Qualifications:

• Valid Florida SLP license required.
• Experience in school-based speech-language pathology, preferably with low-cognitive and behavioral student populations.
• CCCs preferred, but strong CFYs will be considered.
• Comfort working across age groups, including preschool through middle school.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Ability to work on-site throughout the contract duration.

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 50 students at the middle school and, in partnership with other staff, serve about 95 students at the elementary level.
• Provide therapeutic support to students with a range of needs, including those in intensive PK, ASD, integrated and low cognitive classrooms, as well as behavioral units.
• Partner with another experienced SLP, SLPA, and a supportive school administration.
• Document services provided and contribute to multi-disciplinary team meetings as required.
• Manage a dynamic, multi-campus schedule with the opportunity to focus four days per week at one school.
