Platform Engineer

Salary: $93,600 - 135,200 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for experience administering enterprise analytics platforms, including BI/reporting and analytics workflow or automation tools.
• We value hands-on knowledge of tenant and environment setup, licensing and capacity management, gateways and connectors, and workspace or project organization.
• We seek experience with platform configuration management, including settings, feature controls, and guardrails aligned with governance and security requirements.
• We prefer experience coordinating platform releases and changes such as patching, upgrades, and feature rollouts, including impact review, communications, and user adoption support.
• We look for experience implementing governance for self-service analytics, including workspace lifecycle management, promotion paths, certification, usage policies, and auditing.
• We value experience with CI/CD or release management practices for analytics assets, such as Git-based workflows, deployment pipelines, and environment separation.
• We prefer familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, along with enterprise security patterns.
• We look for knowledge of capacity planning, performance optimization, and cost or consumption management in SaaS environments.
• Relevant certifications such as analytics platform administration, cloud fundamentals, or ITIL foundations are considered a plus.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity based in Omaha, Nebraska, with a fully onsite work arrangement. The pay range for this role is $45.00 to $65.00 per hour, with compensation influenced by qualifications, experience, skills, job knowledge, location, and other job-related factors.
