Purpose: OGA Women's Health is seeking a full-time (32 hours per week) Patient Financial Advocate team member. This position is set to take place- at our Meridian clinic location, Monday through Friday during regular business hours.

Pay: Range of $18.00-$23.00 per hour based on relevant experience and skills.

Position Duties and Responsibilities: The Patient Financial Advocate Support will assist the billing department in a varied capacity. This role includes supporting the collections and patient financial advocacy team as well as the general billing office.

• Calls past due patients in regard to collecting payment.
• Sets up payment plans for patients.
• Takes payments from patients over the phone.
• Preparing and sending past due and final notice letters.
• Acts as a resource to the Business Office as needed, cross-trained in various roles as needed

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Strong communication skills
• Strong empathy skills
• Medical office experience preferred but not required
