About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for System Finance and Chief of Staff to the System Chief Financial Officer. This senior leadership role is pivotal in driving the operating model of the finance division, ensuring the execution of enterprise finance priorities, and maintaining alignment with the organization's strategic, operational, and financial objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading day-to-day operations, coordinating across various finance functions, and serving as a trusted advisor to the CFO. Key duties include establishing governance structures, leading special initiatives, and translating strategic vision into operational action. The role also involves providing executive-level financial analysis, and decision support, and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance organization. Candidates for this position should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for advanced degrees, and at least 10-12 years of leadership experience in finance, healthcare administration, or related areas. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in executive governance, strategic planning, and organizational effectiveness, particularly within a large healthcare system or similarly complex organization. Essential skills include executive leadership, organizational influence, and the ability to lead through influence across multiple functions. Strong business acumen, analytical capability, and excellent communication skills are also required. Professional certifications such as CFA, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma are preferred. The role demands a leader who can develop high-performing teams, foster collaboration, and ensure the disciplined execution of the CFO's priorities.
