Pharmacist Opportunity – Part-Time or Full-Time
Location: Columbus, Ohio
An expanding mail-order pharmacy in the Columbus area is seeking a licensed Pharmacist (RPh) to join their team. This role offers flexibility between part-time and full-time schedules, ideal for candidates who thrive in verification-focused pharmacy work with limited patient interaction. New graduates are encouraged to apply, with a required one-year commitment. The employer will cover licensure fees and is open to considering all offers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately verify prescriptions to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance
- Ensure adherence to state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Manage and oversee the dispensing workflow in a mail-order environment
- Maintain precise documentation and uphold quality assurance standards
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to facilitate timely and accurate order fulfillment
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Sunday: Closed
- Flexible scheduling options available within operating hours for both part-time and full-time candidates
Qualifications:
- Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing with no negative licensure history
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in prescription verification
- Ability to work efficiently in a mail-order pharmacy setting
- Previous experience in verification is preferred but not required
