Join us and let’s get started.Job DescriptionAECOM has an immediate opportunity available for a Senior Construction Engineer for employment in Panama City, Panama. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:Under limited direction, applies advanced engineering theories, concepts, principles, processes and novel approaches to major and complex construction projects.Utilizes advanced techniques and an extensive and diversified knowledge of engineering problems and methods.Directs a group of engineers at a construction site.Full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating complex engineering assignments on a small to medium sized project.Conceptual to detailed design of water dams, retarding basins, service basinsThis vacancy aims to strengthen our talent pool for future opportunities.QualificationsMinimum RequirementsBA/BS + 10 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationExperience in performing inspection, design, and/or engineering activities in dams or water retaining structuresExperience in the evaluation and validation of contractors change order requests against contract documentsBilingual – English and Spanish.Preferred Qualifications15+ years of experience in related fieldExcellent interpersonal skills, staff supervision, strong negotiation skills and conflict resolution abilitiesExcellent written communications and presentation abilities in internal project settings with the project team, external project stakeholders, and leadership.Additional InformationAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
