Quick Facts: Location: Springfield, TN Start Date: 06/29/2026 End Date: 09/28/2026 Shift: 24-Hour Day Shift (3–7 shifts/month) Hours/week: Varies Employment Type: Locum/Temporary Licensure/Certs: Active Tennessee Medical License, DEA, Board Certified in OB/GYN Experience: Minimum 2 years OB hospitalist experience, high-risk delivery experience required Pay & Benefits: Hourly Rate: $2,964.00 Benefits: Competitive pay package Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Travel & accommodations covered (airfare, lodging, rental car) Paid sick time per applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements What You’ll Do: Provide inpatient obstetric hospitalist coverage at a busy facility Manage high-risk obstetrical deliveries and support high-acuity cases Serve as backup call for Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) and assist with surgical first assists Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including anesthesiology, neonatology, and MFM specialists Respond promptly to callback needs while remaining within 15 minutes of the hospital Use Meditech EMR system for patient documentation Support approximately 600 annual deliveries and relevant GYN procedures Ensure patient safety and quality care during each shift What You Need: Active Tennessee medical license Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology DEA registration At least 2 years of OB hospitalist experience, with high-risk delivery background Strong communication and team collaboration skills About the Assignment: Join a prominent healthcare facility in Springfield, Tennessee, providing critical obstetric care in a supportive environment.
