Mechanical Assembly Technician

Formula 1 teams, leading automotive and aerospace companies, and the world's top researchers in materials and seismic engineering all rely on our systems to determine product reliability and ensure compliance with quality standards.We're looking for a Mechanical Assembly Technician to build and maintain the subsystems behind our test and simulation technology, working hands on with hydraulics, mechanics, and precision tooling in a role that offers real room to grow.What You'll Do:Assemble hydro-mechanical subsystems according to engineering blueprints, specifications, bills of materials, and manufacturing process documentationMeet standards for quality, efficiency, and scheduleInterpret engineering documents to determine results and processesUse hand tools, specialized tooling, and basic measuring equipmentTroubleshoot and repair new and customer hydro-mechanical subsystems, including disassembly and problem diagnosisDevelop solutions and resolve performance issuesCollaborate to maintain accuracy of documents and records per MTS policiesInitiate modifications and improvements to engineering and manufacturing documentationAccurately execute the non-conforming materials processParticipate in process and quality improvement activitiesMaintain professionalism and communicate effectively with coworkers, engineers, supervisors, and customersActively develop skills assembling and testing MTS products and industry technology, and participate in required trainingWhat You Bring:Two-year certification from a college or trade school, or military training, in an applicable discipline (mechanics, hydraulics, electronics), or 4+ years of applicable experience in a related environmentBest in Class Benefits:Affordable medical, dental, and vision insurance:HSA/FSA with a company matchIncome protection benefitsIndustry leading 401(k) planPaid time offParental leaveMatching gift and volunteer programGet Involved and Give Back:MTS supports Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) that bring people together to share experiences and ideas, and we're committed to a diverse, inclusive workplace where everyone can contribute their talents.
