Overview: Sentara RMH Medical Center is hiring a City/State: Harrisonburg, VA Work Shift: Multiple shifts available Overview: Sentara RMH Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Nursing Resource Pool in Harrisonburg, VA! Sign on bonus up to $20,000 available for qualified candidates! Schedules available: Full Time Nights (Three 12-hour shifts 7p to 7a) Part Time Nights (Two 12-hour shifts 7p to 7a) The Nursing Resource pool at RMH Medical Center is hospital specific and includes floating to units with additional need due to either acuity or staffing. Primarily assigned to IMCU or Medical/Surgical units, this unit offers training and precepting on the ICU and ED for Registered Nurses (RN) who wish to move into these more critical care areas. This Nursing Resource Pool is ideal for those who enjoy variety or are interested in learning new skills. Due to the advanced level of practice, 2 years of acute care nursing experience is preferred. New Grad RN Candidates with a background in hospital based acute care may also be considered. Sentara is a career destination for professional nursing. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive, patient-centered care in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, delivering treatments, and supporting patients and families with education and compassionate service. The RN collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to monitor patient progress, make clinical adjustments, and advocate for the best patient outcomes, ensuring safety and adherence to evidence-based practices. Education Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required) Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN or MSN (Preferred) Students in the process of completing a registered nursing program with previous experience in acute care clinical roles may be considered. Certification/Licensure Registered nursing License (Required) Students in the process of obtaining a Registered Nursing License with previous experience in acute care clinical roles may be considered. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
