Clinical Development Leader - AI

GE HealthCare seeks a Clinical Development Leader to oversee clinical research operations for the Ultrasound division at the Waukesha facility. The role manages protocol implementation, sonographer qualification, clinical quality assurance, and AI scanning studies while ensuring regulatory compliance and system readiness.

Responsibilities

• Own clinical quality across all internal scanning sites including protocols, SOPs, QA, and clinical escalation
• Intake and vet new protocols; release version-controlled protocol packages with training materials
• Manage clinical portion of AI scanning studies, monitoring image quality and protocol compliance
• Manage sonographer pool including recruitment, training, qualification, and clinical vetting
• Serve as real-time clinical escalation point during scan hours with authority to stop scanning for safety concerns

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• ARDMS certification or equivalent
• 6+ years sonography experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience training, precepting, or assessing sonographer competency
• Hands-on experience across multiple ultrasound platforms and probes
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills
