Job Description
Title: Travel Level III NICU RN


Schedule: 48-hour shifts; weekends required (every other weekend); on-call as agreed.


Assignment Details: Contract length and guaranteed hours not specified.


Requirements:
- 2 years Level III NICU experience
- Travel experience required
- Neonatal patient care focus for neonates < 24-28 weeks
- Certifications: BLS, NRP
- Experience with ventilator management, UAC/UVC management, arterial line and central line care, IV vasopressors, surfactant/steroid administration, and feeding support


Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care for neonates in a Level III NICU setting.
- Monitor and manage critically ill neonates, including those requiring advanced life support.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Educate families about neonatal care and development.

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation: 24 hours
- Compliance checks, background checks, and standard travel requirements applicable.
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays.
- Return staff rule: 3 months between permanent and travel assignments.
