Direct Counsel is partnering with a prestigious AmLaw 10 law firm to identify a Litigation Associate to join its Miami office . This is an exciting opportunity for a talented litigator to work on high-stakes, complex litigation matters alongside a nationally recognized litigation team.

The role offers exposure to sophisticated disputes across multiple industries , providing associates with the opportunity to develop strong litigation skills while working closely with experienced trial lawyers on significant cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with all phases of complex litigation , including case strategy and development

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda

• Conduct legal research and factual investigations

• Support discovery, depositions, and trial preparation

• Work collaboratively with senior attorneys on high-profile litigation matters

• Manage deadlines and contribute to the overall litigation strategy

Qualifications

• 1–6 years of litigation experience at a law firm or comparable legal environment

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced litigation environment

• Outstanding academic credentials

• Admission to the Florida Bar required

Compensation

The anticipated salary range is $225,000 – $390,000 , depending on experience, qualifications, and internal compensation structures. The firm also offers a robust benefits package for attorneys and employees.
