Sales Area Manager

Job Description

Under the direction of senior management, manages in-store operations dealing with merchandising, selling, stocking, promoting and reordering of goods in a selling area(s) to maximize sales, profit, SSR, productivity, turns and inventory goals. Evaluates and enhances customer service and customer satisfaction.

UNDER THE DIRECTION OF SENIOR MANAGEMENT, MANAGES IN-STORE OPERATIONS DEALING WITH MERCHANDISING,SELLING,STOCKING,PROMOTING, AND REORDERING OF GOODS IN A SELLING AREA(S)TO MAXIMIZE SALES, PROFIT, SSR, PRODUCTIVITY, TURNS AND INVENTORY GOALS. SUPERVISES, TRAIND,DEVEOLPS,HIRED AND SCHEDULES ASSOCIATES FOR CURRENT POSITIONS AND FUTURE GROWTH. EVALUATES AND ENCHANCES CUSTOMER SERVICE SATIFACTION. RESPONSIBLE FOR POWERZONE AND OUTDOOR LIVING AREAS.

Job Qualifications

Two years of retail experience in retail store operations within the last five years is required.

Or


Successful completion of Exchange Retail Management Training (RMT) or Retail Management Academy (RMA) training programs.

Major Duties

Manages financial and operational duties within a selling area.
Evaluates and enhances customer service and customer satisfaction.
Supervises, trains, develops, hires and schedules associates for current positions and future growth.
Performs other duties as assigned.
