Direct Support Professional - Day Services The Arc Madison Cortland Job type: Full-time | Location: New York | Salary: $20.00/hr | Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30am-3:30pm | Sign‑on bonus: Up to $1000 Join our team and make a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities Assist individuals with developmental disabilities in acquiring, retaining, and improving self‑help, socialization, and adaptive skills. Support individuals in the development and attainment of life goals and promote independence, productivity, and community integration. Provide individualized care as outlined in each person’s Life Plan/IOP. Assist with primary activities of daily living (toileting, feeding, cooking, cleaning) as per each person’s Life Plan/IOP. Maintain files and produce service notes and documentation on assigned caseload. Document and submit reports to the program as outlined in the assigned department.
