SUMMARY

Our client, is a large, stable distribution company, in the Metro Detroit area. They are seeking a Senior Accountant to add to their team.

RESPONSIBILITIES of Senior Accountant

• Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing journal entries and account reconciliations to support the month end close process.
• Senior Accountant will help prepare consolidated financial statements.
• Senior Accountant will help with internal control and procedure documentation.
• Support physical inventory counts and help with Excess/Obsolete inventory analysis
• Help prepare relevant journal entries as needed

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE of Senior Accountant

• Bachelor s Degree in Accounting required
• 5+ years of experience in Accounting required
• High level of US GAAP knowledge
• Excellent communication, people, written and presentation skills
• Team player who can work well with other functional groups
