Scaffold Construction Foreman

Position Overview Sunbelt Rentals— the fastest-growing rental business in North America— is seeking a high-performing Scaffold E&D Foreman 2 specializing in specialized hoist and mast climbing systems. Responsibilities As a Level 2 Foreman, you are the critical bridge between field execution and project management. You will safely and effectively direct daily operations, overseeing equipment installation, safety compliance, and multi-trade logistical coordination. While you won’t typically be working with your tools, you will be the on-site Competent Person (OSHA) directing up to three Foreman 1 crews to flawlessly erect and dismantle complex scaffolding systems. Qualifications and Experience Rack & Pinion Expertise: Direct, hands‑on experience with specialized equipment, including Construction Hoists, Transport Platforms, and Mast Climbing Platforms. Proven Leadership: A minimum of 5 years combined experience as a Scaffold Carpenter, Lead Carpenter, and/or Foreman 1 (or approved equivalent). Technical Precision: Ability to confidently read blueprints, design various scaffold types, and accurately calculate material orders. Rigging Mastery: Deep practical knowledge of Hoisting, Rigging, and Signaling operations. Safety Leadership: Proven track record of conducting Risk Assessments, managing JSAs, and enforcing OSHA regulations. Elite People Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and teamwork skills to interface with clients, manage costs/schedules, and coordinate seamlessly with other job site trades. High School Diploma or equivalent (Trade School preferred). Valid driver’s license. Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights and lift up to 40 lbs. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a major plus. Physical Demands & Environment The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors in various weather conditions. Compensation Base Pay Range: $24.05 – $30.06 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
