Location: Andover, MA Shift: 2nd Shift (3:30 PM to 12:00 AM) Duration: 12 months on W2

Job Summary: We are looking for an Assembler 1 to join the Sensor Department. In this entry-level role, you will assemble, wire, and test electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical components and sub-assemblies. You will work closely with the second-shift supervisor while following established procedures, work instructions, and blueprint specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical assembly of components and sub-assemblies.
• Follow detailed work instructions and established assembly procedures.
• Perform wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing.
• Set up and adjust components or equipment according to blueprint specifications.
• Use basic hand tools and assembly equipment as required.
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality and specification requirements.
• Perform basic testing of equipment and finished products.
• Identify assembly or testing issues and communicate them to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Qualifications

0–1 year of job-related experience; entry-level candidates are welcome. Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions. Basic mechanical and/or electrical aptitude. Ability to work with small components and hand tools. Ability to read and follow basic drawings, blueprints, or work instructions is a plus. Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows-based computers are preferred.

Work Environment: Work is performed in a cleanroom environment. Must be comfortable working with electronic and mechanical components. Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks and maintain attention to detail. Must be able to work the assigned second shift schedule.
