Senior Mechanical Engineer – Automation & Machine Design
Location: Southern New Hampshire (Onsite, 5 Days/Week)

• Lead the full lifecycle of custom automation systems—from concept development through build, test, and installation
• Design sophisticated machinery, including robotic cells, multi-station assembly lines, and precision systems
• Create detailed SolidWorks models, system layouts, and complex station designs
• Serve as the technical leader on projects—guiding design reviews, managing scope, and ensuring delivery on time and within budget
• Collaborate cross-functionally with controls, production, and procurement teams to bring systems to life
• Mentor and oversee Designers and Detailers to drive high-quality execution
• Interface directly with customers—leading weekly reviews, managing expectations, and delivering exceptional results
• Oversee system debug, testing, and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
• Ensure successful installation and final delivery of high-performance automation equipment

• 10+ years of experience in machine design or OEM automation
• Proven track record designing at least 5 automated systems from concept through installation
• Strong expertise in SolidWorks (3+ years minimum)
• Deep understanding of automation systems, including mechanical design, integration, and system functionality
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong customer relationships
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
