Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 45-bed 5th Floor Medical/PCU unit with a patient ratio of 4–5 patients per nurse
• Manage cardiac drips and cardiac catheters in accordance with unit protocols
• Perform chest tube management, wound care, and administration of TPN/lipids
• Utilize cardiac monitoring equipment, lifts, and Dynamap devices as part of routine patient care
• Document accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Collaborate with a team including charge nurses, RNs, and MSTs to deliver high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PCU experience (2 years preferred)
• Active RN license valid in Colorado or a compact state
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cardiac and/or ICU experience strongly preferred
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude toward staff and providers
