Position Overview

• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout each examination, clearly explaining each procedure
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and referring physicians to assure high-quality diagnostic images
• Efficiently operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any operational issues as needed
• Document procedures accurately and maintain up-to-date patient records within the electronic medical system
• Engage in continuous learning to stay informed about advances in sonographic techniques and standards

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• Preferred: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
