Full-Time Leasing Consultant

A prospect submits an inquiry at 9 a.m. By 9:15, you've called, sent a follow-up email, and booked a tour for Thursday. That kind of speed is the baseline here, not the exception. PeakMade Real Estate is hiring a full-time Leasing Consultant for a community in New Brunswick, New Jersey. This is a front-line sales role. You'll own the leasing pipeline from first contact to signed lease, and you'll be expected to hit occupancy targets consistently. What the Job Covers Most of your day runs through lead conversion. You'll field inquiries by phone, email, and online platforms, then guide prospects through tours tailored to what they actually need. The goal is to create urgency and close. You'll track every lead in the CRM, execute multi-touch follow-up, and monitor pricing, availability, and competitor positioning so your conversations stay sharp. Beyond leasing, you'll handle lease paperwork accurately, collect deposits, and support move-in and move-out events. You'll also pitch in on the annual turn process, help keep the model and office presentation ready, and assist with market surveys when needed. Weekends and peak leasing hours are part of the schedule. What You Need to Bring At least one year of sales or leasing experience with measurable conversion results Comfort working in Yardi, Entrata, RealPage, or a comparable CRM Documented follow-up discipline: calls, emails, texts across multiple touchpoints Ability to work weekends and adjust to peak leasing demand The pay range is $20 to $24 per hour, and the role is commission-eligible.
