RN Med Surg/Tele

Location: Belleville, IL Contract: 13 weeks Shift: (18:45 - 07:15) Pay Package Stipend $1498/ weekly Non Taxable On W2 $1130/ weekly Taxable Total Gross $2628/ weekly

Key Responsibilities:

Assessment and Planning:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and psychosocial status.
• Develop individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical orders.
• Prioritize and organize care based on patients' acuity and needs.

Patient Care:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and monitor for any adverse reactions or side effects.
• Perform procedures such as wound care, IV therapy, catheterization, and other nursing interventions.
• Monitor vital signs, laboratory values, and other relevant indicators to assess patient status.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.

Patient and Family Education:

• Educate patients and families about their conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
• Provide resources and information to support patients' recovery and well-being after discharge.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes.
