About the Role As a Bartender, you will deliver an exceptional guest experience through strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wine, and spirits, and a passion for hospitality. Weekend and holiday availability is a must. Please review our menu online before applying. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve beverages to Shiraz Kitchen’s standards. Engage with guests, answer drink‑menu questions, and make recommendations. Participate in menu trainings and tastings, and pass menu tests to stay current. Maintain a clean, organized bar per health and safety standards. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, and follow responsible alcohol service guidelines. Stock and replenish bar inventory, and assist with inventory management. Assist with bar opening and closing procedures. Qualifications Prior bartending experience in a high‑end or high‑volume restaurant or bar. Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and classic cocktails. Excellent communication and guest‑service skills. Composure and efficiency in a fast‑paced environment. TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol Certification preferred. Availability evenings, weekends, and holidays. Pay Transparency $17.00/hour ($11.35/hour base + tips). Tips range from $200–$250 per day. Shiraz Kitchen & Wine Bar is an equal opportunity employer.
