This position is for a Traveler Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry at a healthcare facility in West Burlington, Iowa. The role requires delivering high-quality nursing care to adult, geriatric, and telemetry patient populations. Candidates must bring their nurse license on the first day. The assignment involves working nights, with a schedule of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience in a similar unit within the last 12 months; no minimum years of experience required.
• Schedule: 36 hours per week with every other weekend rotation.
• Additional Information: Candidates will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance; a Basic Dysrhythmia test will be administered during the first week and must be passed to work on the telemetry/med surg unit. Candidate may be required to float to other campus locations, including Fort Madison and Henry County. Floating is required for non-critical care inpatient units and sometimes to the Emergency Department if boarded patients are present. While not part of a regular call rotation, occasional on-call duties may occur, with response required within one hour.
