Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create individualized therapy strategies to help them achieve their personal goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Utilize evidence-based approaches to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily activities
• Collaborate with Diverse Healthcare Teams: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver cohesive, holistic patient care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families in therapy protocols to ensure ongoing progress and support at home
• Monitor Progress and Adapt Plans: Track clinical results and modify treatment as necessary to keep patients on their desired path

Educational Background

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouragement for ongoing education or advanced certifications

Licenses and Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license is required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
