Job Description

Alderson Loop is seeking an experienced AI Architect / Cloud-Native Solutions Architect to support a major cloud and AI modernization initiative with one of our clients. This individual will play a key role in designing and building a next-generation SaaS platform that incorporates cloud-native application architecture and advanced AI/agentic capabilities.

The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of AWS cloud architecture, SaaS application design, and hands-on experience architecting and deploying AI agents. This is a highly collaborative, technical leadership role requiring someone who can establish architecture standards, own solution design, and work closely with engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment, takes ownership of technical challenges, and can balance strategic architecture with hands-on implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of cloud-native applications and AI-powered solutions within a next-generation SaaS platform.
\n
• Own the technical architecture of individual platform modules, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with broader enterprise standards.
\n
• Design and deploy AI agents and agentic workflows leveraging AWS services, particularly Amazon Bedrock AgentCore.
\n
• Architect scalable, multi-tenant SaaS applications using AWS and Kubernetes.
\n
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and architecture teams to establish technical standards, reusable patterns, and best practices.
\n
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and contribute to implementation when necessary.
\n
• Evaluate and implement agentic architecture patterns, including RAG and multi-agent systems.
\n
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions.
\n
• Support agile development practices, rapid prototyping, MVP delivery, and continuous improvement.
\n
• Partner closely with technical leadership to drive architectural decisions and long-term platform strategy.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and architecting cloud-native applications within AWS.
\n
• Strong understanding of SaaS application architecture, including multi-tenancy and scalable application design.
\n
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized application architectures.
\n
• Experience architecting, deploying, or integrating AI agents and agentic solutions in AWS.
\n
• Familiarity with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and its capabilities for deploying and operating AI agents.
\n
• Strong understanding of modern application architecture principles, cloud services, and distributed systems.
\n
• Ability to balance high-level solution architecture with hands-on technical execution.
\n
• Experience collaborating with development and DevOps teams to deliver production-ready applications.
\n
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
\n
• Experience working in agile environments with an emphasis on iterative development and rapid delivery.
\n
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification strongly preferred.
\n

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Databricks.
\n
• Strong understanding of RAG architectures, multi-agent systems, and agentic AI design patterns.
\n
• Previous experience designing and building SaaS products or platforms from the ground up.
\n
• Background in startup, consulting, or fast-paced product development environments.
\n
• Experience establishing cloud architecture standards and technical governance practices.
\n
• Experience delivering MVPs and incrementally scaling solutions based on business needs.
