Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where your expertise will directly support elementary students during the upcoming 2025–2026 school year. Serve in a collaborative educational setting from August 27, 2026, to June 12, 2027, providing vital one-on-one behavioral support to a young learner in a dynamic elementary environment.
Work weekdays from 8:15 am to 3:45 pm, enjoying a structured schedule that includes a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in educational settings and are passionate about making a positive impact each day.
Ideal candidates will bring:
- An active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (required)
- Experience as an RBT in a school, clinical, or pediatric setting
- Comfort and skills working with elementary-aged children
- Strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability in team-focused environments
- Dedication to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
- Current knowledge of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) best practices
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct, individualized behavioral support to an elementary student within a school setting
- Implement and document behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a supervising BCBA
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to foster a supportive and inclusive environment
- Collect data to evaluate student progress and make recommendations as needed
- Support classroom routines and transitions, encouraging positive behaviors and independence
