Step into a rewarding contract role as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting elementary students for the 2025-2026 academic year near Des Plaines, IL. In this position, you’ll work one-on-one within a dedicated elementary program, contributing to student growth and promoting positive outcomes in a collaborative educational environment. Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required and must be maintained throughout the assignment
• Experience working with elementary-age children within schools strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and individualized behavior intervention plans
• Proven ability to implement, monitor, and record behavior strategies under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, one-on-one ABA therapy for an elementary student in a supportive school setting
• Implement behavioral interventions under direction of the supervising BCBA and educational staff
• Collect and record accurate data on student progress and behaviors
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of intervention plans
• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and compliance with school policies

Position Details:

• Contract spans August 27, 2026, through June 12, 2027
• Monday-Friday, 35 hours per week, from 8:15am to 3:45pm, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks daily
• Individual 1:1 caseload at an elementary school in a supportive, resource-rich environment
